HeartMind Leadership™ · Part 2 · Module 4 Coherent Listening Module 4 · Video 5

Summary

Coherent Listening

This lesson brings everything in Module 4 into direct experience.

Rather than learning more about listening, you’ll practise being available — internally organised enough to receive another person without rushing, fixing, or withdrawing.

Coherent listening isn’t a communication technique. It’s what happens when your nervous system is regulated enough to stay open while someone else speaks.

This practice helps leaders experience the difference between listening from effort, and listening from coherence. That difference is often felt immediately by others.

In this lesson, you will:

  • Practise listening from a coherent state
  • Notice how regulation changes attention and presence
  • Experience listening without agenda or urgency
  • Integrate coherence directly into relationship

Reflection & Practice

This lesson includes a short practice worksheet to help you take coherent listening into real conversations — not just the exercise itself. This is not about becoming passive. It’s about becoming available.

How to use this lesson

Watch the video once. Then practise coherent listening in at least one real conversation before moving on. Let the experience teach you more than analysis ever could.
