People who carry
this work into
the world.
Every coach listed here has completed the HeartMath South Africa Coach/Mentor training programme. They’re not teaching a system — they’re practising one, in their own way, with their own people.
Not sure who’s right for you?
Rather than leaving you to browse a list, Alan is happy to point you in the right direction. A brief conversation about where you are is usually enough to find a good fit.
A community, not
just a certification.
Being part of the coach network means more than having a licence. It means belonging to a community of practitioners who take the work seriously — and who are committed to expressing it authentically, in their own voice, with their own audience.
The coaches here come from diverse professional backgrounds. What they share is a commitment to coherence — not as a concept to teach, but as a practice to embody.
Certified and active
All coaches listed have completed the Coach/Mentor programme and hold a current HeartMath certification. They’re actively using the work — not just credentialled in it.
Their own voice
No two coaches here work identically. HeartMath is the foundation — what each coach brings to it reflects their own background, passions and the specific people they serve.
Supported by Alan
Active coaches in the network have access to ongoing development, mentoring from Alan, and the resources they need to build practices that are genuinely sustainable.
Alan Strydom
Trainer · Mentor · Personal Coach
Alan’s work begins at the point where certification ends — when a coach or practitioner has to find their own voice, their own people, and their own way of carrying the work into the world. With a background spanning NLP, Psycho-Neuro-Immunology and hypnotherapy, and over a decade of HeartMath training and mentoring, he brings a grounded, unhurried presence to both individual coaching and group work.
In his role as a HeartMath mentor, Alan has worked one-on-one with over a thousand certified coaches — more than four thousand individual sessions across every stage of their practice — making him one of the most experienced HeartMath mentors in the world. That depth of exposure to what coaches actually struggle with is what shapes everything he teaches.
Beyond his work as a trainer and mentor, Alan also works with individuals directly — as a personal coach. If you’re navigating something real and aren’t yet sure what to call it, a conversation with Alan is often the right first move.
